Upholstery air stapler

I bought an air stapler to staple the portion of upholstery that goes to the hard plastic on the back bucket seats but the staples don't close on the inside like the factory ones did, my question is did I buy the wrong stapler? or can I buy certain type of staple that will close on the one I have. Any advice would be appreciated.

My first guess is you wouldn't like the price of the stapler that can do what you want.

But it would help to know what stapler you have.

The staples never close you have to use a hammer or something and run it along the staples to close them, also on the inside of the door panels.
