I got mine from carsteering.com . So far I am very pleased with them. Rack came quickly and spotless clean. Core charge refunded fast. Good price included shipping to me and the core back.

The rack is not very hard to rebuild if you have the right tools and the various sized seal installers. If you don't have the experience and tools you're better off getting rebuilt at any of the reputable rebuilders. It'll save you a lot of grief and time.

I think I have your answer. Contact Lonestar Caliper Company, Canton, TX, (903) 829-8400. They do a fabulous job of rebuilding rack and pinion assemblies for Corvettes. I had mine rebuilt a year ago (1985 C4 Manual 4+3 Doug Nash Overdrive) and it's working fabulously! I think I paid $250 and got a full 5 year unconditional warranty! I hope this helps.

Some in our Wazoo ZR-1 group used TurnOne with outstanding results.
