Default Help With Electrical Issue

I'm hoping to get some help on tracing an issue keeping the power seats and power door locks from working in my 91. When I purchased the car both worked and I haven't done any electrical work other than a new battery. According to the FSM the circuit for both run through the power accy 30 amp circuit breaker. In looking at the breaker I found that it trips and resets over and over. I tried a new breaker, but had the same result.

The power door locks go through a 15 amp fuse after the breaker, which is ok. Only the seats and door locks run through the circuit breaker and there is a diode in line between the breaker and seats. could the diode be the cause of the problem? And if so how can I follow to where the harness that contains it would be located.

It turned out to be a dead short on wire that ran through the center console to the power seat switch. Must have had a nick in the wire that eventually moved a bit to cause the short.

The wire runs through top of console to the power seat buttons. What year do you have and does it have driver and passenger power seats or just driver?
