Default ZF6 clutch Master and Slave replacement parts

One if not both have failed and need replacement on our 91. In the past I have always used Jim at Power Torque; however he is no longer an option. What brand(s) is everyone using as a replacement for the master and slave now?

Thanks,

-Daniel

Several forum members including me have had good luck with the Napa replacements.

What sort of symptoms were you having from the master/slave cylinder failures? Dealing with a few things and just curious.

I picked up both the slave & master cylinder from Rock Auto and a braided stainless steel line from I think from Corvettes Central last year when shifting became difficult. Solved the problem. Shifts perfect now especially with the Core/Hurst shift installed.

What brand from Rock Auto did you buy?

The Clutch Slave Cylinder was a Wagner SC142088 and the Clutch Master Cylinder is also a Wagner CM120165. That was for a 1996.

Daniel,

Just curious, does anyone know what happened to Power Torque Systems?

Thanks,

Nick

My experiences with Jim were always great. He provided great product, service and support to me over the years he was in business.

I had a similar experience: super talkative and helpful, and even willing to lend a tool to help me (long distance).

First time I've heard that...or anything like that. Not surprising that it came from Chumpvette.

I was able to buy rebuilt master and slave by him not too long ago on here. So does Bill do the rebuilding of the clutch hydraulics now?

Thanks Tom.

i has a shop reach out to him to get a couple of slaves and masters rebuilt for the race car. Jim snubbed him because Jim went to him and asked some questions and he didn’t reply. Jim told him he was banned from purchasing from him.

as a result, I consider Jim a Dick!

Who is Bill B.? Is he worth contacting for the same work that Jim did? (regardless if Jim was a d__k, or not)
