Default Hypertec Thermo Chip vs Stock

Had my car dyno'd before I put in a set of SLP shorty headers. I never could tell the difference with the Hypertech chip so I had them do a run with it and with the stock one to finally find out.

Stock Chip - 276.6 RWHP 311.0 RWTQ

Hypertech Chip - 274.0 RWHP 306.1 RWTQ :mad :mad

Think they'll give me my money back :D :D :D :D

Hypertech is a too generic chip, offering little if nothing in return, as you have well noted.

If I were you I'd invest in a chip from either Ed wright or TPiS.

I believe both will recalibrate your chip, as your inventory of modifications grow. (Of course there may be associated costs involved).
