Differential bushings replacement
I’m needing to replace my diff. bushings. Anyone done this and how hard? I can’t find any threads, any help appreciate. Sorry, 86 stock.

I just changed mine to poly, changing diff as well. You will have to get the assembly out to do it. Look on you tube and you'll find a few videos of people getting the bushings out.
In the factory manual GM shows a tool to remove and install them. If you want to do it yourself I drilled holes in my rubber bushings and hogged out what I could with the drill bit. Then I pryed with a screw driver to get the rubber part out. To get the shell out I took a hack saw and gently cut in two places just thru the shell trying not to get into the aluminum hole the shell is in. Remove the section between the cuts then the rest can be bent inwards and it will come out.
The most time consuming part will be R&R of the diff.
