Car cranked didnt run replaced fuel pump with a 85 fuel pump.
I made a cross-over tube and got a new battery.
Car wont even turn over it seems to not be sending power to the starter it wont click like it would of it was even trying.
Fuel pump primes and the battery is full and the fuses have all been checked and are good, Also the radio wont turn on nor will the horn honk everything else works just fine lights, hazards, blinker it all seems fine i just dont understand what would cause it when it turned over 2 weeks ago.

If your battery is good and it is not clicking it is one of two things:
One step at a time!! Don't give up, just because you're puzzled. It's not that tough!
1. What is the voltage between the + battery post bolt and the large terminal on the back of the alternator when you try to crank the engine?
2. What is the voltage between the - battery post bolt and the aluminum bracket for the alternator ( ground ) when you try to crank the engine?
Both of those measurements should be about zero if your wiring is good.
So it was the security system it has never armed in the 9 years ive owned it till yesterday and it seems that locking the door then unlocking both doors with the key will not unarm it any advice to disabling or fixing that as a issue it sometime unarms and sometime dont is ther a specific thing i may mot be doing
Have you looked at the Fusible Links Behind Battery? also an 85 Fuel Pump? 85s are High Pressure Running 35psi Normal, 84s 12/14psi?
Mr. Carter, your bio says you know Corvettes, but:
1. There are no fusible links behind the battery in the '84.
2. The '85 fuel pump is a popular upgrade in the '84. The fuel pressure is established by the fuel pressure regulator, not by the fuel pump.
3. These suggestions have nothing to do with the OP's problem with his security system.
To lock the doors without activating the security system in an '84, use the sliding lock levers in the doors, rather than by pressing the "lock" buttons. To disable the security system, remove the fuse that's behind the center instrument cluster.
Hmmm ok ive taken that off once before but ill try the slide instead of the button first and see if that helps thanks ill keep yall updated on how it goes
And dont point out someomes lack of knowledge about the 84 its kind of the vette the wanted to forget.

unlock doors by hannd.
Unhook the battery for a few minutes and then hook back up. Don't touch door locks. Now try
Hey guys im back i will be attempting to pull the fuse either today or tomarrow not sure yet
Is the fuse behind the radio or the actual instrument cluster??
Wanna get it all sorted so i dont pull the instrument cluster and it be behind the radio or vice versa.

I suppose I should keep my mouth shut, but I find it hard to ignore bad advice. You do want help, don't you? I've put you on my list, so you won't hear from me again. I promise.
See that 10 A fuse? That's the "security" fuse. Good bye.
