Default Air Pump Supercharger

Ok, I know there are people who do Air Pump Deletes when removing old worn out heavy power robbing Cats, so they just clean up everything in the engine compartment associated with it, including the Air Pump. But what would happen if you just route the discharge of this positive displacement pump just ahead of the MAF. Isnt more air flow what is recomended at least for an 87 to increase performance. Thoughts??

Mine's just pumping to the silencer or atmosphere. I think the pump looks better than those modified pully's!

Air is Air, you're saying the trade off between the horsepower required to run the pump and return is'nt worth the trouble?

Why not install a mild SC into that location.

I guess I'm staying close to stock on this car, I have a green air filter to put in, and maybe new fuel injectors in the future.

I dont see how it would really help, its not much air being forced into the manifolds.

But you can try it, you might be the first.

It's not going to help and it's unfiltered so it could actually hurt.
