Today I drove the vette and I noticed that the coolant temp was at 230 and I'm going 80 mph so I switch it to the digital and it was at 205 I thought it could be the sensor so I changed both of them and it still does the same thing Any ideas on what to do ?
230 degrees means that the needle would be on the 4th mark, if it was on th emiddle mark, that would be about 210, you don't have to worry until it gets into the shaded area.
Unless you are talking about an aftermarket gauge, then I don't know.

205 is normal on LT1.
I know Its at the 4th mark is 235 it a little above it
I will have to check it tomorrow
It looks like your temps are within the normal ranges for driving at those speeds. I very seldom look at the analog water temp gauge. I leave the digital coolant temp display on. Freeway cruising at 70-75 in warm weather will usually result in coolant temps between 200 to 210. Cooler weather will bring my temps down to 197-200. I do see temps up to 220 or so in heavy stop and go traffic, but the secondary fans will start and temps drop quickly.
Running the A/C will force the secondary fan on and that will bring temps down if you see higher numbers.
