Has anyone tried this to INTERCOOL?? Custom Intercooling?
Hey guys... Im saving up right now for an ATI Procharger.... But I have noticed some people are getting rid of the intercooler due to things such as it blocks the radiator and making the car run hotter
I was thinking.... What if you could get 2, smaller intercoolers and put them where your fog lights are..... take out the lights and put a nice mesh in there (like the Z06) to make it look good to, but also at the same time get good cool air to the intercooler, and not blocking the radiator. I bet someone did omething liek this already...... Does anyone have any pic of custom intercooling systems???

The LT-1 P600B/SC-1 comes with a 2 core over the radiator. If I'm not mistaken, the L98 comes with 2 separate intercoolers that DO in fact go on the sides of the radiator where you're referring to. I'm not sure if you knew that already, or if you were making a suggestion for us LT-1 boys.

So does that mean all previous C4's to 91 have the same as the LT-1's. Why did they make exceptions for the 91 only? Maybe even the 90?

900HP!!! Damn, I wonder why I can't eventually run those? How much different could the car be? When I called ATI they explained that I could probably not get any more than 500HP out of the stock Intercooler. I asked them what they recommended but they said they didn't have anything. I just assumed I'd have to go to a gaseous setup, but if the babies are good for 900HP I'm sure some modification could get them to fit an LT-1.

Why has not anybody tried to use two intercoolers like the same way the setup is on the callaways, of to the sides of the intake. Then you could put small fans to cool the intercoolers even more and have functional hood louvers or scoop or cuts or whatever they are called and that could feed the small electric fans that will flow cold air over the two intercoolers. When you put the intercooler in front of the radiator the heat of the radiator gets pushed to the intercooler from the fan, does'nt that just heat up the intercooler instead of cooling it? No point in doing that. :D
