Default AC issues

I am working on a 96 Coupe with the C68 automated system. I can not get the blower to come on automatically. If I set the fan speed manually it comes on and blows hot even though its set to 60*. If I set it to auto the fans shut off. Any ideas what usually causes this would be appreciated. I know there is a way to pull data from the HVAC system but I don't remember what it is. Thanks in advance.

Try this link. Auto uses in car temperature sensor input for blower speed

I came up with a temp door circuit fault. Is the temp door under the dash or at the firewall?

Found a walk through to replace it here.

Well that was not the most fun I have had working on a corvette but the blender actuator is in and it seems to be working as intended. Now I am trying to track why the compressor wont kick on. I have found and replaced the 30a Maxi fuse for the blower fan that some one jumped. The 10a mini fuse on the dash for the AC clutch and the programmer are both good. Checked the AC pressure and with everything off it was showing 20psi. Bought 2 cans of Freon and cracked one open. The low side quickly came to 40psi and no change. The compressor spins with just a little resistance from moving Freon and the clutch can be activated manually by jumping it. There is no voltage coming to the clutch but a good ground on at the plug for it. Not really sure where to go from here.

Looking over the schematics I want to test the clutch relay but I'm not sure where it is located. Any one with a picture or good description?

Yes there is a relay triggered by the ecu to cycle the compressor clutch.

When in defrost yes you should have compressor activation too as you can run cold air in the defrost mode
