Default Terrible Fuel Economy

….. I went to a facility that provides accurately measured time vs distance and discovered that my fuel consumption is drastically impaired … it appears that my car is using about 3/4 of a gallon of fuel per mile traveled … now mind you , I am using E85 which requires approx. 27% more volume than gasoline would use to go the same distance … but , jeez …..

Too much time waiting for a green light?
Better than running a red light

That's what you get when you...."live your life a 1/4 mile at a time. For that 10 seconds or less, nothing else matters."

Are you counting the coast-down mileage too? If not...your mileage may have just doubled to a whopping 3/8 gallon/mile!

Indeed, I can recall many years of similar "research" at Englishtown, till the shut down their drag strip last year.
