Default [7730 Stock Computer] Nice Knowin' Ya ;)

The SEFI DFI is going to be installed in my car starting tomorrow. I can hardly wait. They've once again assured me it's a much smarter and easier to tune system than chip burning(obviously). It does have datalogging, so recording a run and seeing what's going on could be neat. My stock computer and distributor will be for sale soon as well. I think the injector harness among a few others come with it.(Super ram is coming off again  )

I'm going to see if they can get it ready for the challenge. If not, shortly after, Long Island here I come.

We we're all wondering where the hell you went :D I made a post or two of when it was being polished and it's completion. You didn't chime in on either of them. Chuck and Gabe thought for sure you'd like that :)

Thanks! It's a nice look. I'm nowhere near in your category of underhood glitz...but I had to do something.

JD,
That sounds really cool to do this mod.I hope its a big improvement and more user friendly to tune,Be sure to take some pics and give us all the info.
Btw,your old harness, ecm and set up will be a good deal for someone to convert to SD over a MAF set up.
Good Luck with it all!
:)

eric

you and that stripe :jester ;)

jeff....our current computers are batch fire fuel injection. correct me if i'm wrong, but the injectors fire in one shot per cycle(something like that) where as sequential each individual one fires and is easier to tune(some say) you also don't have to go through all the bs with chip burning which almost sent me in to the nuthouse.

bill....believe me, i'm dumping the stock stuff when i can. good bye and good riddance! sure, it sent me in to the 11's(117) but not without putting a few grey hairs on my head
