Default AFPR leaking...again?!?! Help

I know it's not a corvette, but it's at least an l98 and I need a little help if possible. Less than three months ago I had to replace the regulator due to a bad/leaking diaphram. The car had been sitting for two years, so I figured that may have played a role. Now the new regulator is doing the same thing which is: Slowly leaking fuel out of the bottom. I can see moisture under the plenum, and when I stick my finger down there it comes back with fuel on it. Also, there is a stain where it looks like fuel is coming from the line you pull to check FP at simulated WOT. Any ideas why this keeps happening, and a possible fix? A new regulator every 2 1/2 months isn't very economical for me.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

How much fuel coming out of the vacuum line? That right there says something is screwed with the diaphram. :(

Today was the first time I saw the evidence of fuel there. It looked like a decent amount. There was a small pool of fuel on the rail(which scares me). What makes a diaphram go bad in the first place? Thanks for the quick reply by the way.
