Default 94 Start and run Problem

Hello Everyone
I am in need of help before I go crazy.
I have a 94 auto trans shows 49,000 miles and I am told that is correct it has a ZR1 body and badges but it is not a ZR1 it is a P vin. The car has a rebuilt title and was done as a clone I guess. I will say this will be long as I will tell what I have done and what it is doing in hopes someone out there can help.
I bought the car from a guy that was taking it for front suspension parts but car was to nice so he sold it to me and I put it back together. I was told that it barely ran and that the guy he got it from had put 1.6-1 rockers and had the computer reprogram to match and the car ran fine for awhile but when the the car started acting up the car got sold and I am the end user.
NOW for my story.
I got car together and found two rockers on # 8 were loose so I fixed that and started engine it barely ran and smoked a whitish blue and smelled like oil and gas. I did compression test 150's all cylinders, checked voltage and ohms of injectors all good, fuel pressure 47-48lbs leak down 3-5lbs 10 minutes. I pulled codes and said MAP was out of range so I checked and all voltage was good. I did a vacuum test and at idle which was maybe 200 there was no vacuum reading but if I revved the engine it would show vacuum. I checked plugs and even plugs had signs of firing (slight black) odd plugs were wet and white as the day I put them in. I thought I had spark problem but have found I had spark. I posted here what I had done to that point and got a few replies with one having me try somethings and one was to unplugged MAF and try to start the engine it did not start but it did backfire and blew the valve cover gaskets out. I walked away for a few days to clear my thoughts when I came back to the car battery was dead so slow charged and came back two days later fully charged ( Both car and me ) I started car same low idle but it revved at first an settled to low idle and smoke same MAP code retested all good. walked away read manual and web items and came back a few weeks later to a dead batter charged and started in again. I found no vacuum leaks, no bad grounds I tried injectors that are on another vette and running great ( factory injector 30lb and other ones 24lb ) no change so I let sit a few weeks. I went back to the unplug MAF test no start and no backfire this time plugged back in and started up and died as soon as I let go of key ( tried several times) unplugged again and it ran rough but at good idle RPM and no smoke so I bought a new MAF put it on start and died unplug ran ( made a drink and went to bed ) Today I fixed the valve cover gaskets hooked up vacuum gauge and started car had low idle and smoke so I unplugged the MAF no start and sounded like it was out of time backfired and blew out valve cover gaskets. I plugged the MAF back in and would not start still sounds out of time and heard ignition in exhaust. ANY IDEAS
