Can I extend my IAT sensor wire?
Actually I already did but want to know if I may have caused some other problems.
I had to extend the IAT sensor wire to reach the new mount when I installed my Intercooler.
I cut the wires (two leads) and extended them using electrical wiring about 6". I stripped the ends and soldered both ends of the wires.
Did I cause some problem with the sensor?
I have a hesitation in the car about 2k rpm and think it is more ignition related then IAT but want to make sure.

Extending the IAT wiring alone should have no negative effect.
Did you route the wire away from the secondary ignition wires?

I extended mine approx. 2 1/2', but increased the gauge of the wire.
