Recommend that you try cleaning the throttle body and IAC as a start. Make sure they're squeaky clean and then you'll know you have a good baseline and everybody can help troubleshoot from there
I suggest you get an ALDL cable and download Tuner pro RT. Chasing an idle problem when you don't know what's going on with the ECM can become futile.
With tunerpro RT you will be able to see what the ECM want's idle to be (commanded) and actual. You will also see the IACV steps, engine temp and all the other things the ECM uses to make the car idle properly.
Also before you go overboard cleaning a throttle body read the warning in the 92 FSM about cleaning throttle bodies. The plates should have a circle of black DAG coating. Some people mistake this for carbon and remove it. That in turn creates excessive air flow and raises idle. If you don't have a FSM get one.
