Closed loop issue
I have an ongoing stalling issue when the car (93 C4 LT1) is in the closed loop- it's wasted a lot of time and money unfortunately! I have replaced injectors, fuel filter, coolant temperature sensor, sparks, leads, o2 sensors and now the car is almost worse! It starts perfectly and idles just under 1000rpm in the open loop. If I drive a while and shut the car down when warm, the car starts in the closed loop and the idle drops to around 600rpm. This is when the car stumbles, judders and eventually stalls- the same issue occurs in reverse gear. I have had Corvette mechanics look at the car but the problem remains (in fact the car went in for a service without the issue and every time it goes back the problem remains!). I live in the UK where there are very few Corvette mechanics so I don't have much choice in where I take the car.
My question is- is there way of programming the car to remain in the open loop? I know this is not ideal (especially for fuel economy) but the car runs perfectly in the open loop, it is very frustrating!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
