Default 40,000 posts and it feels like....

...there is about that many of you behind me right now.

I nearly never do these "post" posts, but I just wanted to say thanks to those from C4 Tech that help in many many ways and are supporting me with the latest engine fiasco. This year has just been absolutely crazy. Two transmissions and now most likely two engines. While it may not of been a very successful (at all) racing season, it was a bigtime lesson. I learned a ton this year repairing this thing and can't wait to dig into it again if you can actually believe that.

Ok so that is about my quota for sapppy posts this month. Glad to get that outta the way. ;) So here's to stronger, faster, and holding up for more than 1300 miles! :D:lol:

Think about it this way, when you get done you will know this car inside and out. I remember a younger day myself on this forum where doing even a simple task like changing a water pump scared me. But if you hang around here enough, you realize that it is all just nuts and bolts, nothing really too terribly hard, maybe just hard to get too, and if you want to complain about that just look inside the hood of a new c5 or something and you will be glad your car is so easy to work on.

I admire your persistence, but usually people don't rebuild their engines every 1000 miles.

Yea...whats up with the car?

And ....you need a life besides the corvetteforum.

I'm sure that having a corvette that runs is a prerequisite to the former. ( j/k :D )

At least you didn't call on us to help push.

Scorp, you're such the CF icon and have everyone beside you every step of the way as we follow your saga via your posts (and percentage points, or lack thereof) and photos (as sickening as some of they have been). :U I wish you were closer so that I could help or something. :( I hope you get the yellow beast back together and running real well soon! :seeya Hang in there kiddo! :)

I might not if the heads and block are trashed.

Well...aluminum heads can be fixed ( had mine fixed when the same thing happenned to me years ago )...so just worry about your block being trashed.
