I've got to replace the connector at the fuel pump on my 89. One wire and also the connector appears to be somewhat burned and melted. I have found a Standard brand replacement pigtail #S722.
My question is: anyone know of a fuel resistant heat shrink tubing?
….. Nylon toilet seat bolt … drilled though end to end to just pass 12ga wire … inserted through the original connector hole (knocked the locater tang off) with fuel line O-rings on both sides … works better than new …..
