Default Wheel Issue 1990 c4 Convertible

I purchased 4 new After Market 17x9.5 inch to fit the 4 stock 17x9.5 stock wheels. The rear set fits fine but the front does not have sufficient clearance above the front ball joints. A 3/4 inch wheel spacer on each wheel will correct this. Is this an acceptable solution?

What offset are these wheels? There is nothing inherently wrong with spacers, as long as you have sufficient wheel stud length to allow the lug nuts to have adequate threads.

Spacers will be ordered with studs built in

You've posted nothing yet that 'substantiates' the fact that you actually need spacers. See your other thread.

obviously the offset for the wheels you bought is not correct for your car....if all 4 are the same, and don't fit the front, probably going to need spaces in the rear too to keep them aligned....sorry, can't remember what the offset for a 90 was....
