Well fellas its off to rip the engine out of the car!
I am actually a little choked up about it. To hear her for the last time is gonna be sad :cry :D
Guess the first time the 406 is fired it will all be worth the pain now.

Got back a while ago and all went smooth as silk. I pulled the tranny and got everything ready for tomorrow night for the pulling of the engine. Then again it was the 3rd time pulling the tranny in the last 6 months, so it was expected to be easy.
Going to try to get it all out by end of tomorrow night. SHould be pretty easy from the looks of things.
The new engine should be ready by the months end or early december. I need to get a dana 44 before testing it out too much. I would hate to spray the 36 all over.
Let you all know how it goes tomorrow night...

I had my fair share of demons trust me....12s were nearly impossible for me to cash in on with my rings leaking. That is why I decided to just skip them and go right into the low 11s, who knows maybe even 10s with some tweaking! :D

Man, its gonna suck! Not so bad for you guys bc you are used to parking it for the winter, but for me.....this is the best time of year. I have had my car down since last Thurs and I am really going crazy! I hate driving my Cherokee around! I want to get it back together and enjoy it so bad, its not even funny. I have been planning and saving for this for like 6 months, and now I want it over so bad!!! I look in the garage and see me car all in pieces and cant help worry if it will ever be the same! We need to exorcise those demons over in MA by getting these back in one piece and running well. Scorp, I'll send you any left over parts, or busted screws, and you can bury them in the yard or something! My hands are taking a beating with all this mechanical work, good thing Im not working right now! Its also a lot easier to fall asleep at night, but harder to wake up. One good thing about unemployment.....no ALARM CLOCKS!!!
I think when I am done with this, I am really going to enjoy the car. I will not be modding or tinkering for a long while! Just driving it to death!
