Do a leakdown test to see what cylinders are leaking. Listen for the air escaping to determine whether there is an intake or exhaust leak or leakage from a bad ring.

Should I just replace all the valve springs and O-rings.
And how can I tell if it’s the valve stem. Or is that not likely
Unless its sheared off or dumping in a ton of oil... I don't see how a valve stem is affecting how it runs. Maybe if it isn't seating properly? Perhaps the valve seat?
If replacing a spring or two I'd replace them all along with the keepers.
I've heard that if you squirt a little oil into a cylinder and repeat the compression test. If compression drastically improves it's rings, if not it's valve stem.
I went back and read through all the prior posts the OP put up. Assuming all is for real, the OP really needs the set of books on basic engine mechanics telling him solutions that require mechanical knowledge is just a waste of keyboard strokes.
problem: the car won’t start. It clicks like a machine gun. Click click click click click. That used to happen all the time, but the car has been sitting for awhile and now the car doesn’t even turn on (like the dashboard and battery thing). I tried jump starting it and it worked for a little bit but seemed to die again. I don’t know what that could have been or why it’s happening. The battery is about 2 months old; it’s new.
So either the OP is an absolute newb, never ever exposed to a car that didn't start on the first key turn, never had an issue,
I agree, start at the beginning and tell us why you took it to your mechanic in the first place.
You can't simply say that a valve is bad just by confirming a couple misfiring cylinders. I think your mechanic is jerking you.
What we have here is an 18 year old, who has had no exposure to auto mechanics, but is anxious to learn. My best advice: find a local Corvette group, and hope someone has the patience to help you! It's tough for us to figure out a problem, when the problem can't be explained with clarity.
Second suggestion: Fill out the information in your Personal Profile. You may discover there's someone in your home town that would be willing to help you.

Yes I am definitely new to all this. Turning 18 this month 😂.
i took it to the mechanic because the engine was misfiring and causing backfire. He then told me it was because 2 cylinders weren’t running correctly. He said it was the valve stem. But I think it is just the spring.
Cylinder misfires are generally caused by 3 things: fuel issues, spark issues, low compression. (A valve issue could cause low compression.) But still I don't know how either you or your mechanic can conclude it's a valve / valve spring issue based only on the symptoms of misfire and backfire. Backfire could be caused by the camshaft/lifters/pushrods or a spark or fuel-related issue. It could even be something as simple as spark plug wires switched onto the wrong plugs.

Well, he fixed up my terrible job of spark plug wires. That’s all correct. I already know it’s not fuel issues due to fixing all that up too. And yes it has low compression. I don’t Exaclty know what he did, but he did say it was because 2 cylinders aren’t running.
