If it's not working, make sure the reflective surface hasn't come off. :troll
Actually mine's the same way. Also it's missing a tiny screw in there that secures the mirror itself, so hopefully I'll figure out how to get in there and fix it this weekend. If I do, I'll keep you updated if I make progress. Let us know if you get it figured out.

Looks like we both have little mirror probs. My mirror is still on tight just not moving with the switch. Let me know how it goes this weekend.
