Default A few 4+3 questions

There’s little to no Info out there on this tranny and I’ve got a few 4+3 questions:

1. What kind of retainers or clips hold the linkages in place?

2. Is anyone able to snap a few pics or describe the routing for the 2 cooling lines? I’m assuming they’re supposed to be installed while the engine is out.
Does anyone use AN fittings/lines instead of the factory steel lines?

3. How do you do about neutral aligning the shifter after having it all apart?

The cooling lines run next to the sump and starter motor on the RHS. I don’t have a photo sorry. I think they could be installed with the engine in or out they only get in the way if you’re changing a starter.

There is a neutral aligning tool that you can make with a flat piece of steel. The dimensions of the tool and the procedure for alignment is described in the FSM.

I’ll have to dig out my fsm. Do the linkages just use regular cotter pins or does it matter?

I can’t remember about the cotter pins sorry. I just had a look in my FSM (always close at hand haha) for the info on linkage adjustment. I was shouted there were dimensions to make a gauge pin but I couldn’t find it. Maybe it’s in the words without a diagram or maybe I saw it some where else. I have attached the adjustment info from the FSM above

I feel like I have this saved somewhere but so far I can't find it. I'll keep digging.
