Smog Checks In SO. CA.????
What do I have to watch out for in Southern CA., smog checks????
will it ever change????Does anyone know????

About the only thing I can think of is watch for ignorant smog technicians...
I've lived in So Cal for 12 years now and the only problems I've had were techs that didn't know what a CARB EO was... One was so ignorant that he wouldn't pass me until I threatened not to pay him... The car passed without a problem but my Accel coil on my old IROC Camaro was supposedly cause for him to fail me on the visual... I brought the CARB info for him to read but he didn't have a clue... So much for a trained smog technician...
I had one tech question my MSD ignition and luckily he read the sticker under the hood which states on it that it was approved for motor vehicles in Kalifornia...
