Default Glue for front Lowering Pads.

Going to put new lowering pads on the front spring of my 93, with ZO7 spring. I am curious as to what people recommend for gluing the urethane pads to the leaf springs.
Thnx

When I had to glue new urethane center pads to my VBP rear spring, they advised me to use 3m Window Weld. They said that's what they used for all their pads on their fiberglass springs. I used it and it seems to work just fine.

The directions say it can be handled in 10-20 minutes, and the full cure time is 24 hours. That squares with my recollections. In the case of spring-end pads, I think you could remove whatever you use to clamp the pads to the spring in 20-30 minutes, but I wouldn't install them until the 24-hour mark because they have some sliding motion where the contact the control arm. The ones I was gluing are at the center of the rear spring and don't slide. I think I may have just bolted them in and used the mount as the clamp for the glue, but I still would have waited to attach the end bolts and take the car off jack stands until it was cured.
