Default Brake system rebuild order

I am rebuilding my brake system this weekend. New corner hoses, rebuild calipers, full flush, new rotors/pars. Fairly certain the fluid is factory original and looks and smells like it came out of the swamp. Is it worth it to do a full flush before taking off the corners? Any concern with old fluid lingering with crud in freshly rebuilt calipers if I leave the new fluid and flush til afterwards?

If you have the patience it'd be better to flush first, especially if the fluid is that bad. I have (on other makes, no experience with Vette) done a flush with engine running to have the ABS pump running. Usually -with old fluid looking ok- I just flush after the rebuild with a couple of litres of new fluid.

I took a big plastic syringe and drew all the nasty fluid out of the master but leave a bit at the bottom so no air gets in the lines. Refill reservoir with fresh fluid then I used my vacuum pump to draw the old fluid out of the lines from each corner. I've had an ASE master mechanic tell me it can cause big problems if you get air in the ABS pump.

Nah, no actual problem there. No real issue with calipers either, just taking the opportunity to rebuild them while theyre off for rotors and hoses.
