LS1 in a 84 C4 Corvette

LS1 in a 84 C4 Corvette
does this engine fit into an 84 corvette. The reason why I'm asking is because it looks like the mount on a regular 350chevy is near the first front cylinder and the LS1 is close to the secound one from the fron of the engine block. Does anybody have any info on this because I put this topic in the Engine MOd form and got no responses. Please post if any of you have info on a LS1 in a C4 or a website or other sources to this topic. ;)

You can fit an LS1 into an 84, however I cant help with details other than try to contact Tracer X if he is still on the forum. He's been there and done it!
