85 corvette cts wiring
So after my injector swap i noticed my coolant temp sensor wire harness was broken in pieces, got one from auto zone and when i went to splice the new pigtail, i noticed it had 2 black wire together and a purple wire, not the yellow and black, i spliced it up and without fail my code came up for coolant temp sensor, switched the wires and still the same even the cooling fan comes ( no ac on) on right away, so now my question is 2 fold, where might i find within the harness the yellow and black wire, and where would the purple and black wires going, everything is tightened up and where it belongs and it starts but runs rich and has throttle issue, probably over compensating for the coolant temp sensor. anybody going through a rebuild that can trace the wires is need> thanks

i have the two wire connector when the old pigtail connector broke it was 2 black wires to one side and a purple to the other, maybe it was not the CTS pigtail but everything else is matched up correctly...im scratching my head, my *** and .....

I replaced mine because it fell apart but the sensor is quite good so it is still going.
Get the correct one then go from there.
