I don't know if it will fit under the 'Vette hood...but on the Kart, it won't matter!
Super L98...that is some killer documentation that you have there! Mind scanning and emailing it to me?
Yes, I've see the TGO thread. Great info over there. I was likely going to bang out my own gaskets for this, but could buy some if the become available again.
I'm so stoked to have this thing. I've lusted over these forever.
after seeing your post tom i looked them up. pretty cool. i love old school parts and enjoy the history associated with unique old parts. kind of why i love the 4+3 as an oem trans. (prefer to drive my zf6, but love the 4+3 for its place in history and mine works perfectly)
whats funny is im guessing you dont need the extra power on your cart. did u ever find a solution to the tires breaking loose?
I hear you. The story behind obscure parts is usually interesting.
The T-Ram should help the tire spinning issue, I think. This was improved greatly when I got the new C5 wheels (see in pic above) with new tires....and the intake should help too, by getting rid of the "TPI Tork-monster" spike at 3200, and replacing it w/a flatter, longer tq curve. At least, if I get 'em spinning, I should be able to keep 'em going through a power slide rather than the thing spinning, then flopping/hooking so quickly.
Here is a Vid review of the SLP Firehawk from the era. This is the car that made me fall in lust for that intake. During the (rare) segments where they're getting on it (more toward the end of the vid), crank the volume. One of the best sounding V8's ever, IMO.

Forgot about these. Were these better than the Super Ram? Cool looking for sure.
There is some older comparison articles out there, but to sum up the Super ram was better than the T-ram, by a small margine, subject to how everything is setup of course. But, the T-ram looks much easier to work on and the neat/ rare factor of it makes it really cool. Less than 300 T-ram intakes exist in the entire world!
