Default Removing door panel - 93

I have an old forum article on how to remove the door panels on a c-4 but I can't seem to get the sliding lock **** to "pop-out." The instructions make it look simple. Do you pull straight toward you or back to the lock position while pulling out? Can anyone give advice?

pull the lock into the open position. I use a flat-head screw driver and put it under the head of the lock switch (the plastic piece) and force it away from the door. it will click or pop off the rod.

Just in case it helps.... 1 screw behind the light above the door handle. Remember where the wires are routed behind the door handle plastic frame when removed. There are areas where the wires are routed so when reassembled the frame will fit snugly where it should.
Also remember the lenghts of the screws. in the door handle area i believe the shortest one is behind the light or in the mid (or the window might get scratched!)

sorry if i confused you. if ya need help just shout ill try and help, ive removed them a million times myself. :)

Thanks! You were absolutely right. The lock **** should be in the forward unlocked position for easiest removal.
