No crank, starter enable relay buzzing.
Hey everybody,
So I have a starting issue with my 94 base model. About 3 months ago i drove to work, when I got off I went to start my car and nothing. No click just dash lights on. Had it towed home and later found that the starter enable relay went out. Replaced it and everything was good. Today I went to work and same thing happened when I got off and tried to start it. So I thought maybe same issue. Went and got a relay but what is happening is that when I attempt to crank over the relay buzzes and rpm gauge jumps to max but doesnt turn over. Relay is getting pretty hot. Any ideas?

I would guess either a weak battery or a bad starter. It's drawing more current than the battery can provide which is causing a voltage drop which kicks out the relay. Then the voltage jumps back up closing the relay, repeat. Or something else entirely :-)
