Got a quick question: What's the differences between the FE1 suspension and the Z07 suspension packages? I know there are different wheels and tires, and I have to assume different shocks. But what spring rates and anti-roll bars were used?
I have a '95 FE1, and would like to do some suspension work for autocrossing. However I want to keep the stock wheels and springs. Anyone have any recommendations for aftermarket shocks, anti-roll bars, and bushings?

That is a great question.
I think the Z07 suspension
has stiffer springs and shocks.
I know the Z07 has 9.5 inch
rims all the way around.
I have a 95 Z07 and it would make
a great autocrossing car, that is why
they offered the option.It handles
superb.

Thanks for the charts, guys! But they've brought up another question for me: in 1995 theres a FE1a and FE1b for early and late in the model year -- how do I tell which one my car is?

The charts are good but they show the N/mm rate of the springs. Does anyone know what the conversion is to SAE? Vette Brakes and most after market suppliers rate their springs in SAE.

According to this site http://www.bekaert.com/weldmesh/conversi.htm you take the n/mm figure and convert to kgf/mm by multiplying by 0.10197. You then take that number and multiply by 1422.3 to convert to lbF/in.
I don't think it is straight-forward.
[Edit] And the other thing the Z07 cars have is a higher durometer rubber bushing in the lower control arms. Replace bushings with urethane and you are good to go.....
