I've always been way rich at WOT and I figured some wide band numbers would help my tuner lean the condition out. It is a mustang dyno, but the wideband will greatly help dial in the car. I've noticed that at 45 psi of fuel (the lowest I can get it) the O2's read 950 and a trail of black smoke follows me down the track. I called fastchip and they suggested wide band before we make any changes, so we'll give it a go. Maybe I'll break 300 rwhp.
Re: Strapping onto the dyno on thursday. (oldace84)
Price isn't too bad.....110 and the owner of the shop said we would probably get an hour and a half since he wasn't that busy.
The shop is located in reeds spring MO....30 minutes south of springfield. I have been using a dynojet at Mc racing in Lenexa KS, but this is right down the road and will serve the same purpose. I'll post the results...keep in mind that I am expecting an A/F of 10.5:1-11:1 so peak power probably won't be achieved :(
Re: Strapping onto the dyno on thursday. (zelement)
It's been trapping at 112 with 18 psi in the bfgs lately, so maybe I undershot alittle. I would like achieve 12:1 after the tune. My plan is to run a 150 shot until I get my other motor finished. My tuner suggested 13:1 as a target for NA. I would like to keep it a little fat...especially if I carry out my nitrous plans.
