Default Vette2Vette

Do you guys sell catalytic converters for a 95 six speed lt-1 with the obd II computer in it. I need a manufacturers cat because a direct fit is needed due to the o2 sensors on the front and back of the cat. Either respond to this post or e-mail me at vballshake@angelfire.com. Please also give a price. I am broke and need to weight out my options

You can use cats from 92-96 on your Vette. The rear O2 sensor on the 95 isn't needed, if you eliminate it, your Vette won't set the check engine light. 92-96 driver side cats are exact fit, the rear driver's side O2 is in the cat back. 92-94 passenger side cats fit fine, just forget about the rear O2 sensor (there's no bung). 95-96 passenger side cats fit fine, install your rear O2 sensor.

Even if your state has a visual inspection, I doubt they'll catch you if you're missing one non-functioning O2 sensor, they'll really have to be an expert on Vettes to know to look for it.

Eric
