Recently purchased a’96 CE Roadster LT4 6spd ! 67K miles and the Suspension System is non-existent. Think it would be cheaper and more practical to just replace the shocks and any other worn out parts. Thinking Qa-1 shocks ? Any suggestions ?

When i read up on it, it always seemed like The F45 ‘Real time’ suspension option seemed a bastardization of the FX3 option.
(ie. Instead of making the fx3 faster reacting, they just took away functionality from it)
The suspension on a. 96 is going to be the softest of the C4s. Z51 HD or sport suspension never available on a vert. If the F45 has a minor problem blown or missing fuse unplugged it maybe worth fixing. F45 does set DTCs. F45 was the beginning of Real Time Dampening( RTD) far more advanced than FX3.
Aftermarket shocks let your budget guide you. Bilsteins about 350. Koni or QAs adjustables moves towards 600. KYB firm and cheap sometimes 4 for a 100 -125.
