19x9.5 front tires, 19x11 rears, and slammed until the top of the tire cant be seen beneath the fenders. done some twisties on the highway at over 160 mph :D
Solid Roller, what kind of 19" wheels do you have?
Getting back to the topic.
My GrandSport with FE1 suspension is probably an average handling C-4 off the showroom floor. My steel blue was equipped with FE1 and FX3 which handled a little better than the GS.
I am sure all of the C-4 handle some what good, but you won't know the difference until you try the coilover setup. A dialed in coilover setup will turn your regular C-4 into a true go-kart, and that's no overstatement.
From everything I have read, the 84 hasn't been beat as far as skid pad #'s.
In the 84 sales brochure, it says that a stock z51 pulls .95G'sand a base suspension pulls .90G's. It also goes onto say that 1G was reached by putting 9.5 wheels all the way around on a Z51 carand dialing in an aggressive alignment.
