What does the broadcast code do exactly?
Just curious, my original EPROM and MEMCAL has AZUM written on it, but the chip I recieved from ED Wright had BAFL written on it. The BAFL chip works fine, what's the deal? Is this some letter representation of the numerical PROM ID field in tunercat?

I wonder about that myself. My PROM is BDBK4779. Was told that is the latest version for my year model by GM parts dude. $81 here locally by the way. I'll wait for Jeff thank you.
