Default LT-4 intake gaskets DISCONTINUED?

The machine shop apparently gave me an LT-1 intake set (Fel-Pro MS 96386) and now im apparently screwed as my searches led to 2 LT-4 part numbers 12527777 and 12528884. The 7777 apparently was problematic and the 8884 is showing discontinued?

Now what?

This isn't going to work:

It looks like the part number may have changed to 12367777

I don't think it was changed, they were both available at one time at least and people warned against the, "7777", take a look:

I was advised by Lloyd Elliot to use the 7777 gasket on my AFR LT4 blower build set up. I trust his opinion

Can you use a 1206/1255 and fudge bolt holes?

From what i remember, fel-pro’s performance line of gasket (with the blue outlines) fit the intakes WORSE than their regular line of intake gaskets.

Now what?

This isn't going to work:
I used the FelPro 96386 on my last intake manifold gasket replacement job. They do list them as LT4 only. The gaskets that were originally on there didn't fit much better. And they were badly oil soaked!!
Also the FelPro kit gives you an egr gasket which is worthless on an LT4. They should have given the air tube gasket instead. I called FelPro customer service about the fitment issue and the egr gasket issue. They were clueless.
By the way at the time I couldn't find the 7777 gaskets. But it looks like Summit Racing has them.
However my car is running well with the FelPro gaskets.

I've always used the 7777 gasket without issues. Just bought a set from summit in Feb for my last rebuild?

Have you ever seen this 8884 gasket in person?

Yours must have fit better than mine, I'd have a massive vacuum leak at every port!

Yeah the EGR gasket can still be used since there is a block off plate, at least on my car?

But im running slick long tubes anyways so don't need any other gaskets.

Which of the 2 do you prefer?

Where did you find the 8884?

I've used the "7777" with no issues numerous times. That's also what my intake it ported to, so that's the one always on my 397. I can't find where I got the felpro gasket but I thought it was Rockauto and was the felpro MS96386 which is the superseed for 12528884. I'd have to dig thru some receipts, I might have got it from Autozone. I've never had issues with Felpro.

Has anybody used the AFR 6860 intake gasket that says it fits LT4s?
