C4 1994 LT1 Coupe Coolant temp question
My digital coolant temp vs the needle gauge does not agree. Are both tied to one sensor? Needle shows higher temp.

Yes they are from different sources however the sensor (near the water pump) that feeds the digital readout is the same that signal that feeds the ECM so that is the one that we pay attention to. The analog gauge is fed from sensor near the passenger side head it is not very accurate and the car "looks" hotter than it is.
