Default Intelletronix digital dash cluster

Ooops...Guess I posted this thread on the wrong forum....My Bad...
Has anyone on the forum purchased and installed one of these units?
Anyway, I bought an Intelletronix digital cluster for my 87 Corvette.
I'm not getting much help with their support staff.
There seems to be a discrepancy in the wiring instructions sent with my new cluster and the Wiring supplement manual for my 87.
Their instructions for wiring the speedometer says to use pin number C15 and (must loop Pink with Black stripe D11 to D3.
My book says C15 is ground for the speed sensor input and D11 is Yellow Speed sensor input and D3 is a ground wire.
If I run my White speed sensor wire on the Intelletronix unit to my C15 pin then it will go straight to ground.
Looping the yellow D11 Speed sensor unit input to the D3 ground then nothing will work.
I don't want to wire it wrong and burn the unit up.
Any help appreciated..
