Default Accessing 3rd brake light on 89

Only one of my bulbs work on the 3rd brake light on my 89 coupe. I believe the bulbs are 891?
How difficult is it to take this apart and replace the bulbs? Also, I know there are some places that carry these bulbs at a much lower price than other places. Where should I go to get them?

Thanks

The bulbs are easy to access. I beleive you pull the trim off the hatch. Remove the 2 nuts and the light assembly comes apart. I only know the dealer gets crazy moey fo them. Try a discount store like Pep boys or somethin. I think they carry them now They didnt a while back.

I bought mine for $4.##each , at walmart (most places wanted near 10$ each. One of my bulbs was ok, just wasn't making good contact (you might want to check first). :yesnod:

Right they are easy to change. Open the hatch, remove the two Torx bolts near the top of the glass that hold the light assembly and lift off the top.

The bulbs should be available through local auto parts stores, though still not cheap.
