Hey guys, any idea on what could cause a high CO output ( 33 gpm ) and an HC output of 1.6 and not set any codes? Could my ECM be on it's way out? It does have the stock chip in it. :seeya
Okay. I take it you are at normal operating temp and not in open loop at this time? Could be a faulty injector(s). You could do the simple leak check on your injectors to verify they aren't passing excess fuel. But you would normally experience a hard start situation.
Need a scanner to see what is going on though.
Well I scanned the car and the only thing it's telling me is a faulty airbag ground and a bad knock sensor. Could the knock sensor be throwing off my timming and fuel curve enough to cause me to run rich? Off to the parts store I go. :seeya
You need a scanner that will read what the O2 sensor is putting out or what the BLM's are at. Datamaster or one of the free downloadables might assist there.
I must warn you that I am new at this stuff though.....makes me yearn for a BB C3... :seeya
