45 minutes is fast! I tried to get mine out and it wouldn't budge. I was dropping the rear also, so I just pulled the rear back and drug the C-beam with it. I might be pulling the trans this winter so I guess I'll be looking for a fight when I try to get it out this time. Damn GM engineers :mad

I made my own 2 piece beam that I can take in and out quick. Take a look at the page on my web site about converting to a th400 transmission. If you only take it out once a year it won't be worth it for you to make a 2 piece one like mine but for my application I had to do it.
