Default What intake on your 406?

I guess flow is the issue but I wondered which intake would broaden the torque curve?

I hope to do the Stealth and machine my own plenum but wondered if anyone had the hi flow base and hi-flow runners with the stock ported plenum.

I'm using the TPIS miniramII I have read that it kills low torque that may be true on a 350 but I couldn't tell any difference from the TPI.
My engine with the miniram made 554 rear wheel torque @3500 RPM

Our 85 has a 406 and we used the Super Ram. The Ram provide amazing torque especially with a 406. I do not know what cam you have, but I am running a ZZ9X with 1.6 gold race rockers on a very modified i.e. ported set of Twisted Wedge heads. The motors makes so much torque we went with a set of 3.07 gears and the Vette will literaly turn itself around in the middle of the road without using the clutch. A 406 is a torque engine, you do not need to spin 7K with it. Use the SR and make all your power down low. You will be amazed. We have not had it to the dragstrip yet because it was just finished, but I have had some 11sec vehicles and this feels like it will kill them.
