1993 Coolant Temp Sensor LT1 , gauge problem
I broke the sensor in the wayer pump when I changed belt, due to removing RD Camber brace.
So, bought new one, coolant. Reinstalled new one, and every once in a while the digital gauge reads erratically. Numbers are bouncing 30s to 180, 60, 70s up and. Gauge on the right water temp is solid, isnt moving.
Thunk its the new sensor? Engine runs fine.
And I am driving in the heavy rain too.

Yep, I know there was probably a thread years ago on the resistance measurments, but its hard to search on the phone.

So the AC Delco gauge is reading correctly? I recently broke the coolant gauge on my lt4. Also was removing the serpentine belt.

Its a pretty critical sensor for the engine management system.
