My best previous time was an 11.98 @ 114. Since then I have rebuilt my transmission, gone from 3.73's to a 4.30 gear, and upgraded my stall from a 2800 to a 3600.
Here are my times from this weekend:
1st run
60' 1.587
660' ET 7.401
660' MPH 93.59
1320' ET 11.544
1320' MPH 119.11
run 2
60' 1.626
660' ET 7.409
660 MPH 93.80
1320' ET 11.562
1320' MPH 118.62
RUN 3 (BEST)
60' 1.590
660' ET 7.375
660' MPH 95.87
1320' ET 11.509
1320' MPH 119.66
RUN 4
I broke a half shaft u-joint!!!!!
I had an extra half shaft in my trailer, so I changed it at the track.
Run 5
60' 1.647
660'ET 7.467
660'MPH 93.78
1320' ET 11.600
1320' mph 119.21
I desperately need to do something with my suspension. When I launch, I am hitting the bump stops and bouncing, and it is unloading my suspension. I think that is why I broke the u-joint. I think that there is a little more there if I can get my suspension dialed in. If any of you guys have part numbers for the HAL rear shock let me know. Thanks.

LT4POWR, my heads are not ported and polished, the only work that have been done on the heads is matching the heads to the intake. I am going to do heads this winter.:yesnod:
Thanks, have you had your car on the dyno? Keep in mind that 11's didn't come easy. Keep after it, and you will reach your goal. Hopefully, I will have some new times with ported heads by Jan or Feb.
Thanks! The guy that built my transmission said that my 1st gear clutch pack was burnt, so I don't know if that was it or what. The weather helped some also. The stall really doesn't feel much different from the 2800 around town.
BTW: Were you at the Fastest Street Vette in Texas Shootout? :seeya
DRAGRACR,
The HAL (QA1) part# is TC-3024, it's the 12 way adj. C4 specific rear shock. I had them on my '92 then moved them over to the '90 which has gone 10.9s @ 125 so far, taking it easy. I've had 3 broken rears & a trans this summer since August, so watch out when you hook it up!!!
BTW, I see in your profile you're a COE, I was too.
Fullboogie, I had the white 92 coupe with Draglites on the front and firebird rims on the rear with ET Streets. I was running the N/A class. I ran a best of 11.98 that day. :yesnod:
Thanks, I ordered me a set today. Is that 10.9? a N/A time? What kind of 60' are you pulling. I am kind of wondering where the D44's limit is..... Before you added the shocks, were you having a problem with it bottoming out on the bump stops? What setting do you run your shocks on? Thanks. :seeya
All runs are NA.
I run the fronts @ 0-2 & the rears @ 5-7 so far with the stiffest Z51 spring, but the car still squats a lot. The rear is raised 1 1/2" for 28" tires and longer snubbers weren't installed, still bottoms at times. Maybe a higher setting of 8-12 in back would help that, but with 497 RWTQ & 3000++ stall nothing is holding up if I try hooking it up. If I pump up the tires & spin it a couple of car lenghts out it goes low 1.50-1.52s, when I let the tires down a few pounds it has gone 1.41 but still spun a car length, any time I went under 17lbs. it broke the rear or trans :( so I don't know how low it would have run, maybe 1.30-1.35. I'm already committed to ditching the D44 this winter, its no fun running something you can't hook for fear of breaking evertime you leave the line.
