Default Issue with starting - thinking fuel pump - miniram

Hey all -

I have a 1991 with a miniram, bosh 3 match injectors (don't know the LB) and ZZ9 cam plus other stuff. I believe my fuel pump went out. For a few days before hand, when I would really push down on the gas it would bog like it was starving for gas. Now it won't start, and I don't hear the fuel pump for the 2 seconds when I turn it to the start position but don;t crank. Weird thing is I think I can here it somewhat when I stand outside the car and have someone else turn the key, anywho, still can't hear it from inside like I use to.

I have a few questions:
1) Where to get a fuel pressure gauge with a schrader valve on it to test the fuel PSI.
2) I know there is a high performance pump in there when I got it with most these mods on, is 255lph enough or do I need more?
3) I was thinking of going with the DeatschWerks 255lph or the Racetronix 255lph, would I need to get the wiring kits they recommend or can I just use the stock wires?
https://www.racetronix.biz/product.asp?ic=fpwh-014

I am thinking after I test the pressure at the rail and know it has no pressure and is therefore the pump, I will remove it and look at the condition of the wiring and maybe see what kind of pump is in there before ordering anything.

Any help is appreciated.

1. Any auto parts store
2. 255 should be plenty
3. IDK, but I'd guess stock wires wouldn't be enough. Stock wires and plugs melt with stock pumps on GM cars.

So for the 255, I would ABSOLUTELY upgrade the wiring harness in the tank and use the upgraded harness Rx sells with their pumps separately. Do not do one without the other, you will melt some wires if you don't upgrade the in-tank side, while running their external piggyback wiring, it pulls a lot of juice.

I happen to use the Walbro 255 unit, but I do have the Racetronix 255 in a box. I definitely don't need any more pump than 255 that I've noticed thus far, and my combo is more radical than yours.

My FP gauge I got from autozone.

Guys -

Thanks for letting me know about the wire harness being suggested. I will look to see if one was already installed from when i got the car so many years ago. Otherwise, it has worked thus far and I just called TPIS and they told me I really don't need the wiring harness; so IDK. When I test, and it shows no pressure I will take out the pump and see the wiring that is in there etc.

Well I got it all fixed over the weekend. The fuel pump in the vehicle was no a high performance pump. So I upgraded to a 255 LPH since it was on sale for $99 and was the same price as a 180 LPH. I did not upgrade wires or harnesses with the battery/alternator. I went with the DeatschWerks, LLC DW200 series 255lph....
