Leaking injector flooding it out possibly. Have you tested fuel pressure by turning key on, and then letting it set? Does it drop to 0?

Kyle, would you please explain to Vance, and to me, how he should test his fuel pressure.

I know the X-Fire is sensitive to fuel pressure, but I would also be looking to see if one of the injectors is just dumping fuel (stuck open). No direct experience with the X-Fire, but I always support checking things before swapping parts. Pull plugs as well and see if one bank runs richer than the other. No promises this is the solution, but based of the description I would make sure the injector (s) or regulator haven't failed.

Low pressure could be a sign of a bad pump, clogged filter, or a stuck injector. On the TPI, the pressure will stay up. You may have to plug or crimp the return line to hold pressure in the X-fire system. If it can't hold pressure with the return line blocked off, you probably have an injector stuck open.

If you turn key to run does fuel drip fro. Injector(s)? Do the injectors "click"? To check fuel pressure gauge has to be "T" in, there is no Schrader valve. Should be 9-15 psi. regulator is part of TBI. Check MAP sensor connector terminals can get deformed or wire could break at terminal. Access to scanner or datalogger to see what sensor inputs to ECM are would be handy.

This would be a lot easier to understand if you used a couple of periods and commas.
